Coaching is about taking you from where you are now and supporting you in moving forwards to attain your self-chosen goals.
I have no prescriptions because every situation, every session and every client is unique.
The coaching relationship is based on the firm belief that you are capable, resourceful and want support in articulating and achieving your goals.
As your coach, I'm totally committed to you and your needs during each session. It is you who defines what you want from life and how to get it. We will uncover all underlying issues and challenges through the skilled use of effective questioning techniques.

As your coach, I'll provide support and direction in 3 ways:

Total self honesty and commitment, if you’re going to be lying to yourself and cheat a lot, you may as well not waste our time. This brings us to

Confidentiality

In order for a coaching session to work, you can rely on my professional working ethics.
My clients work with me for many different reasons and at different stages in their life. Some may have never set a goal in their lives, just following the path laid out for them by family, friends or circumstances. These clients may be particularly vulnerable when I encourage them to examine areas of their lives that they have never previously considered. All clients are united in their desire for change.

Challenging

You can expect me to challenge you out of your comfort zone. If you always go about doing things the same way, you can't expect different results.

Encouraging Responsibility

By becoming more self aware, identify how time is spend and taking responsibility for your life, you become empowered. By taking responsibility you can learn from any situation and move forwards to what you want or want to be. By recognizing situations you can not control outside yourself, but learning you can control your response to situations and people. By taking control of your life, you can decide the path and direction you want your life to take.

Opening Choices

Always remember that concerning your personal life, you have a choice. You may not always like the choices, but you do have a choice.

Explore Values & Beliefs

Many people hold the belief that there are right or wrong answers. Some may even seek approval to check if their answers are acceptable. There are no wrong answers in coaching, just your own, honest reflections. As the coaching relationship develops, you will become more flexible and will learn to explore the freedom offered by answering questions from your own perspective.
If you are determined to become authentically yourself, you will have to find a way to assemble all parts of your nature into one whole. You will have to stop pretending to be the person you have been and begin to recognize and ultimately accept who or what you are becoming.
Coaching questions are designed to make you think for yourself. The purpose is not so much to find the answer but for you to hear the answer in your mind and to respond. These questions can cut straight to the heart of an issue. It can challenge unhelpful beliefs and assumptions, make you see a situation in a new light, raise awareness, open up possibilities and encourage you to accept personal responsibility for your life.

Set Goals and Define Action Plans

Goals are positive statements of intent, correctly formed, made with absolute commitment and followed through with daily action.
It isn't what achieving the goal makes for you, it's what it makes of you in the attempt.
When you set goals, you have clear aims and objectives towards which to channel your effort and energy.
90% of success in achieving goals is all about the ‘Why’. 10% is the ‘How’.
